Sara Fellows

Sara has always loved writing and making up stories, when she was a child she would entertain her friends with a series of made up tales about a girl called Ramona who was always getting into trouble! Her teens were spent penning poems full of love and angst, the former unrequited, the latter compulsory!

Sara went on to study Drama, Film and TV with English literature at university and developed a love of media, going on to work in local radio, presenting shows as well as the occasional traffic and travel shift. These days, she is still behind a microphone, but as a voice-over artist.

Her first book, “The Nine Lives of Oscar the Cat” jointly won the Northern Children’s literary festival Northern Star Award in 2011. She is currently working on her second book, a fiction based novel aimed at older children.

Sara is married to Martin, lives in Norton and has a blind cat called Phoebe, she enjoys cycling, cinema, chocolate and of course writing.
